Khordong Byangter Monastery was founded by the late Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche in order to protect and spread the teachings of this lineage which were taught by Padmasambhava and rediscovered in the 14th and 19th century by the tertons Rigdzin Godem and Nuden Dorje.
On April 28th, Khordong Byangter Monastery had put on its nicest appearance to receive the people of Shantiniketan and celebrate Tulku Ugen and Shashi’s 25th marriage anniversary in a mix of Bengali and Tibetan celebration.
A great moment of joy, dance and feast until late in the night.
